How to get the results of the test?
Count the number of A’s, B’s and C’s you got. “A" indicates Vata Prakrit character, “B” indicates Pitta Prakriti character and “C” indicates Kapha Prakriti character.
If the number of “A’s” are more than “B’s” and “C’s” then the person can be Vata Prakriti.
If the number of “B’s” are more than “A’s” and “C’s” then the person can be Pitta Prakriti.
If the number of “C’s” are more than “A’s” and “B’s” then the person can be Kapha Prakriti.
If “A’s” and “B’s” are equal then the person can be Vata-Pitta Prakriti.
If “B’s” and “C’s” are equal then the person can be Pitta-Kapha Prakriti.
If “A’s” and “C’s” are equal then the person can be Vata-Kapha Prakriti.
In rare cases the Prakriti becomes Vata-Pitta and Kapha Prakriti, when all the characters of three dosha occur almost in equal percentages.

Triguna Test (Mind Test)
Sattva, Rajas and Tamas are the three qualities of mind as per Ayurveda.
Sattva is the factor of purity. This factor in an individual leads the belief in God, cleanliness, helping others etc. Sattva Guna helps a person to understand the calm and right path which gives a personal as well as social balance. This quality helps oneself to understand that all are equal. Generally all professionals in any sphere needs this quality to do their job with high excellence for bringing up amazing results. A teacher, a cleaner, a doctor, shop keeper or driver etc. if has the Sattva quality they will never complain about their surroundings but they create productive service to help all the citizens which in turn brings great value to the nation and society. This quality in excess leads to the path of selfless dedication towards the society. Selfless service, peaceful coexistence in the society, teachings on various truthful facts and dhyana, dharana and dharma (concentration, focussing and virtuousness) will be reflected if the quality of Sattva is in excess.
Rajas is the competitive mentality in an individual. This quality leads an individual to do some actions to fulfill various needs of life. This quality gives the character of hardworking, competing with others, comparing oneself with others to do more and better work each day etc. Rajas Guna predominance makes a person to believe that this person only is important and everything and everyone surrounding is not of much importance other than the closer ones. This character leads them to force or compel other people for certain actions. When this quality increases traits like anger, fighting, counting the value of gifts given and gives low quality service/gifts in return just to show that some action is done etc. will be reflected. Just the thought of monetary benefits and degrading others mentally and physically will be exhibited or telling unnecessary facts on others etc. will be done.
Tamas is the quality which leads to take rest always without moving. This quality leads to sleepiness, tiredness, laziness etc. Tamas makes an individual feel that he or she is not important or it leads oneself to think that there is no value for him or her in the society. Tamas leads to depression, apathy, lack of interest, laziness etc. With the increase in this quality a person loses interest in the society, money, cleanliness, happiness etc. Tamas predominance makes a person unable to move from one place to another, they always get stagnated in one place or job. This quality when in excess will have a stable interest in food, sleep and absence of logic. This quality increases fear and a person tries to protect themselves through all possible measures.
An Individual can be,
- Sattva predominant
- Rajas predominant
- Tamas predominant
- Sattva - Rajas predominant
- Rajas-Tamas predominant
- Sattva-Tamas predominant
- Sattva - Rajas - Tamas predominant
For example,
a) A teacher while teaching must boost the Sattva Guna character which helps to see all children equally.
b) A Racing professional must have the Rajas character to win the Race.
c) If you want to sleep in time you must balance the Tamas quality of mind.
Ayurveda and I personally recommends,
- Individual diet
- Individual regimen
- “Saram Marma” therapy
- “Sarvam”, concentration - focussing methods for mind balancing
- Ayurveda herbal intake plan considering the doshas, dhatus (tissues), Saram (the best tissue in an individual )
- Detox and Rejuvenation therapy for the perfect balance of these three qualities.
Ayurveda says that “Body and mind are interconnected like hot ghee kept in a hot pot, where the heat transfer happens to and fro. In a similar manner the changes in body will be reflected in the mind and vice-versa”. The three qualities Sattva, Rajas and Tamas have real influence in the general health and this qualities must be always balanced through all possible measures similarly in a manner we try to balance the three doshas namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha. It is fact that up to a certain level the balancing three doshas along with classical mind balancing techniques like “Sarvam method” it is easy to balance these qualities.

Saram test (Body built test)
According to Ayurveda, there are 7 types of ”saras" in general, and there is an 8th one, which is defined as an ideal state (when all body tissues are in a state of equilibrium). These basic 7 types can also be combined. Based on this concept, Ayurveda asserts that each person has one predominant body area. This means that one of the body's tissues or one specific area of metabolism will be well developed compared to other areas.
For some people, it can be 2 areas, 3 areas, or four body areas, etc. According to Ayurveda, the 7 “Saras" or areas of the body/tissues are
- Rase - people who have the right digestive quality are called the "Sarah" Race.
- Rakta - people with good blood are called Rakhta "Sarah”
- Mamsa - people with well-developed muscle tissue are called Mamsa “Sarah”
- Medas - people who have a proper fat metabolism/or a normal body fat deposition prevails are called “Sarah” Medas
- Asthi - people who have well-developed bones and bone metabolism are called Asthi “Sara”
- Maja - people who have proper bone marrow development are called Maja “Sarah”
- Shukra - people who have proper activity of the reproductive system are called Sukra “Sarah”
In my experience,
In most cases, there is a predominance of any one area of the body. Rarely can we
observe combinations. In some people, they are distributed evenly and in a balanced
way. In my opinion, this is an amazing indicator of health, allowing you to assess
which areas of the body require increased attention.
For example, if a person is called “Sarah”, he or she will have good muscle development and activity. The person of Mamsa “Sarah” should pay attention to the nutrition of the other 6 areas. If two or three “Saras” prevail in a person, this indicates that he should pay attention to other areas, attaching great importance to them.
This topic of Sarah's is of great importance,
This helps us predict the actions that need to be taken to balance our health. Similarly to understanding the constitution of the doshas based on Vata, Pitta and Kapha, it is necessary to understand the constitution based on “Sarah”.
"Sarah" is a concept discussed in the higher education system in Ayurveda. Ayurvedic practitioners rarely use it because it takes proper time to evaluate. Here, in this article, I will try to give a general idea of which part of your body is strong so that you can evaluate your “Sarah” or “Saram”.
- A person who has an ideal initial stage of digestion falls under the category of Rasa Sara.
- A person with normal blood counts and a body devoid of red spots may belong to the Rakta Sara
- A person who has proper protein digestion and proper muscle tissue development belongs to Mamsa Sara.
- A person who has proper digestion of fats and proper distribution of adipose tissue throughout the body belongs to the Medas Sara.
- A person with proper bone development, calcium metabolism and strong bones, as well as joints belongs to Asthi Sara.
- A person who has vision (without the phenomena of periodic appearance of darkness, even when the eyes are open) and the feeling of completely touching the ground when walking belongs to Majja Sara.
- A person with a functioning reproductive system and energy belongs to the Shukra Sara. You can use the above concept and make an approximate conclusion to determine which part of your body is working perfectly and which requires more attention.
As I explained earlier, “Sarah" can also be used in combination. Balancing areas of the body or body tissues after understanding the imbalance should be done using all available methods suitable for the nature of your body.
Some people are born with an ideal metabolism in all areas of the body, and some people need to work on improving their metabolism in order to achieve a state of balance or full health. The concept of "Sarah" is a broader idea, it also provides detailed explanations of understanding the body based on the nature of breast milk, nails, hair, hormonal activity (cycles), ligaments, tendons, cartilage, sensory organs, etc.
Based on my experience, “Sarah” or “Saram” should be identified in each person, which will help to understand the area of the body that requires increased attention.
Conditions such as,
- Excessive hair loss
- Weak joints
- Red spots on the body
- Weak reproductive system
- Allergic disorders
- Dry skin
- Inflammatory conditions
- Muscle pain or weakness
- Digestive disorders
- Excessive body fat deposition or obesity
- Feeling tired and
- Anxiety, etc.,
If we can identify these conditions as early as possible, we can focus on proper treatment also at the earliest stages. The Sara assessment gives us a clear idea of which location, organ, or system in the body is balanced and which part requires attention.
In Ayurveda, the Saram assessment is performed by a Vaidya (chief Ayurvedic physician), and treatment methods are introduced as a daily regimen. Health status can be assessed at any age, and a regimen to improve the condition of areas requiring attention can be initiated at any age. Ayurvedic practices include an individual diet and regimen to improve metabolism at different levels. The concept of “Sara" was developed by Acharya Susruta and is still practiced in the Sreshta Vaidya parampara (generations of people practicing Ayurveda in the same geographical region). I will additionally include the details of the Sara assessment in my consultations upon request.
After the Sarah assessment, Ayurvedic methods of soothing or detoxifying treatment are used, as well as rejuvenation procedures. This method also evaluates three doshas to understand additional existing imbalances in the body. The constitution assessment based on the assessment of doshas and Saras provides a detailed view of the natural characteristics of the human body, providing a graph of the levels of metabolic activity in various important areas of the body. Along with the above assessment, a pulse analysis is also performed to understand the existing imbalances. A joint understanding of the levels of dosha and Sarah gives a clear idea of what a person needs to do to always stay healthy.
Along with knowing your body's dosha-based constitution, try to get to know your Saram as well as possible, which will help you balance your health more easily.
