An adenoma is a non-cancerous (benign) tumor that arises from glandular tissues in the body. It may develop in organs like the colon, thyroid, adrenal gland, liver, or pituitary gland. Though benign, in some cases, adenomas can progress to malignancy if not monitored properly. The symptoms vary depending on the site of occurrence and may include abnormal hormone secretion, digestive disturbances, or pressure-related symptoms in nearby tissues.
Ayurveda does not have a direct curative treatment for adenomas. However, Ayurveda assures supportive and symptomatic management in such conditions. According to renowned Ayurvedic physician Dr. Varun Ram Raj, all tumor-like conditions, including adenomas, require modern diagnostic evaluation and careful monitoring. Ayurveda can provide supportive care to improve quality of life, strengthen immunity, and balance aggravated doshas. Preparations like Kanchanara Guggulu, Triphala, Varunadi Kashayam, and Trikatu may be helpful in selected cases, but they should only be taken under strict medical guidance.
Always consult a doctor before taking any herbs or medicines.
